Make sure the PH is correct...
Dogs skin pH is 5.5-7.5, humans are 5.2-6.2
PH level for dog shampoo should be close to a neutral 7.0
- Baking Soda: 8.3
- Vegetable Glycerin: 7
- Water: 7
- Castor Oil: 6-7
- Johnsons and Johnsons baby shampooL 5.5
- Aloe Vera Gel: 4.3
- Aloe Vera Juice: 3.4-4.5
- Tea Tree Oil
- Honey: 3.5
- Vitamin E
- Oatmeal: 5.5
- Coconut Oil: 4.6
- Apple Cider Vinegar: 2.8-3
- Lemon Juice: 2
Acid Value
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil: .6
- Flaxseed Oil
- Castor Oil

Dog Shampoo Recipe
This recipe will give your dog a beautiful, healthy coat and is much cheaper than commercial products.
1 Cup of Johnsons Baby Shampoo, Ivory or Dove liquid dishwashing soap
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 Cup of vegetable glycerine for dry fur, 1/4 cup for normal hair (available at your local pharmacy)
Mix all of the ingredients together.
Double the ingredients if a larger amount is desired
Dog PH Rinse
A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with a pint of warm water can be used as a rinse to restore the ph balance of your dog's skin after using a store bought (or other) shampoos.
Aloe Shampoo
An inexpensive homemade dog shampoo recipe consisting of a handful of aloe vera gel diluted with some water, applied to a dog while its coat is dry. You can add a little baby shampoo if you want foam. Then rinse with warm water
Dog Deoderizer
To deoderize a dog. Take a little essential oil that has an aroma you like and dab on the skin along the dog's spine where the dog can't lick it.
